Whether it’s an upcoming city council meeting, upcoming parade or the annual Apple Festival, our Calendar of Events Module makes posting and sharing upcoming events a snap. Site visitors can switch between a calendar display of monthly events, a listing of upcoming events or a monthly listing of events.
In calendar mode, a site visitor will see a listing of the events for any given day, roll over the daily events to see all events listed for that day and click on an event for more details, including a map and photos if desired.
In upcoming events mode, a site visitor can view all upcoming calendar of events, with a summary of each event listed and easily navigate to future upcoming events. When an event has past it no longer appears as an upcoming event and the next event moves to the top of the list.
In monthly listing of events mode, a site visitor can browse a listing of all the events for a particular month, with a summary of each event listed. The site user can also browse monthly events by simply click next month or previous month.
When a site visitor finds an event they’re interested in learning more about, they can click into the event for more information, including maps, photos, event contact details and subscribe to the event via RSS feeds.
